Revati been Bugged

Luca couldn’t believe what Zack said. He was searching for Geeta’s daughter and she was right in front of him giving him attitude. She knew who he was and still joined his rival and fighting against him. Luca wanted to tell her everything but Revati’s behaviour made him change his mind. He determined not to help her until she approaches him. 

Revati was feeling well and didn’t know what to do since her identity and location was compromised. She knew there will be attacks again when they know she gave them irrelevant documents. In hurry she gave the wrong flash drive. Paul was with her all time. 

Revati: “Paul will you do a help. I want a new house and if it’s near our office it would be better.” Paul knew what she meant.

Paul: “There is a guest house inside our office complex. You can stay there till we find you a new house. You will be safe since there is security in our building. Should I send somebody to shift your things to the guest house, if you have no problem.”

Revati: “It would be a relief, also I can work whenever I have time.”

Paul: “You are not going to work for one week after you are discharged from the hospital. You need rest and Officer Rick is also investigating the incident. Now you need some rest.” Paul called his secretary and told him to go and shift all the items from Revati’s home to the company guest house. Revati felt like something was poking inside her wound. She told doctor about it.

Doctor: “There was a torn ligament which I had to stitch with a metal thread. It is made of bio material and will not create any problem in future. Just take care not to hurt your arm again because the tear will be beyond repair.” Two days later Revati was discharged and Paul took her to the guest house. She saw all her items were set there like it was in her home. 

Revati: “Thanks Paul for your help. Will you have dinner tonight as a housewarming feast.”

Paul: “Yes, I will have dinner. But I will order food and you need not prepare anything for dinner. Now go to your room and have some rest. I will be here till our dinner arrives.” Revati had no option but to obey Paul and went to her room took a shower and lay on her bed watching something on TV. An hour later Paul came to her room and saw she was asleep and TV was on. Seeing her sleepy figure his mind wanted him to go near and sleep with her but he came out of his wonderland and slowly woke Revati. She was startled, but seeing Paul she knew she drifted off watching TV and went with him to have dinner. Revati joined office after a week. She saw there was lot of new proposals and projects in hand. She started to scrutinise and select few projects. She called the Manager and gave him the finalised projects and told him to give it to respective teams and make a detailed outlay of the projects.

Luca was watching Revati’s every move. He didn’t want her to get into trouble and also wanted to defeat her in the upcoming projects. He knew Revati would select most of the projects he has selected. He told Zack to work hard and get every project for their company. Zack knew Luca’s obsession for perfection and victory. He told his team to prepare the best presentation so that they wouldn’t have to suffer Luca’s wrath again. Revati was also putting pressure to her team to bring her the best presentations. Luca has never felt this much tension and stress to gain a project. Even in his initial days he had to work hard but was stress free to make his project a success. Now Revati has caught on his nerve that he hasn’t felt this desperate to succeed in every attempt. Both of them didn’t realise that they were turning into arrogant and making their people’s life miserable around them.

The first project Luca and Revati submitted got selected by the company, suggested them to work together and submit the prototype. Both of them were feeling angry and helpless. They wanted the project badly and couldn’t lose it. They tried to convince the company to change their decision but they were adamant in their decision. Finally they agreed without hesitation. On their way back Luca tried to convince Revati to back off.

Revati: “So the great Luca is begging me to give up the project.” Luca was already angry that he broke the pen which was in his hand.

Luca: “See don’t test my patience. I am not begging you to back off. I am warning you, because only you will lose in the end. I will make sure you won’t get any projects in future.”

Revati: “Wow, Luca is daydreaming of defeating me in my own turf. Hats off to your guts to threaten me when it’s clear that I am winning here.” Both of them were looking like two bull that have locked its horns for fight. Zack came there and separated them by taking Luca with him. Revati went to her office and told Paul about the deal to work with Luca. Paul was happy they got the project but was worried about Luca. Next day Zack called Revati to discuss about the project.

Revati: “Did your boss gave you permission to consult me.”

Zack: “Yes Ms. Reddy, can you please tell where we can meet to discuss about the terms of working the project.” Revati was red due to anger. She didn’t want to work with Luca’s company, but if she doesn’t corporate then she will have to give them a huge compensation. She agreed to meet them at restaurant and gave him the address. When she arrived at the restaurant she saw Luca was already there. Her breath hitched in her throat seeing Luca in casuals. She had seen him like this when they met first time. She was staring at Luca and he saw her staring at him so

Luca: “Somebody can’t take their eyes from me. What can I do since I am ruggedly handsome.” He said with a smirk. Revati woke up from her dream world. She saw the evil smirk on Luca’s face which she wished to wipe of with a punch. She sat down 

Revati: “Now about the project where are you planning to design the prototype. Is your team ready to collaborate with my team. If so when are you planning to start.”

Luca: “I have decided to split the project. My team will design the prototype, your team can prepare the algorithm and design the code. My team will correct and rectify bugs and implement the code into the prototype.” Revati knew by accepting this condition Luca will get the upper hand in the project.

Revati: “Ok I will agree to your condition if you agree to work in my place. All of you will be my employees.” Luca was helpless because he wanted to slap Revati for her attitude but controlled him from creating a scene. Finally they agreed to work in their respective comfort zone and discuss any doubts through video Conference.

It took a month to finish the prototype now it was to be tested. Luca wanted to test it with his team and Revati with her team. They were blind with their ego that it never crossed their mind to combine their team. Again Zack had to interfere to take the decision to call both teams and test it. 

One day Paul saw Revati was talking to Richard. He saw the closeness between them.

Paul: “Do you know Luca’s dad.”

Revati: “Ya, he is like father to me. When mumma threw papa from our lives it was Richard uncle who took care of us. He used to take me to his home and treated me like his daughter. Luca wasn’t there at that time.” Paul was astonished to hear Revati.

Paul: “Why do you hate Luca.” Revati face became dull.

Revati: “He was the cause for the death of mumma and my Janice didi. Janice was his fiancée but for me she was my sister. I can’t forgive him for killing my only family. But now I am confused hearing what Officer Rick said.” Luca was outside the room when Revati said these. Now he know why Revati dislikes him. But he wasn’t ready to accept her as family. 

Revati’s wound was hurting even though it healed. When she asked doctor his reply was the same about the stitch inside her wound. She start to have doubt and decided to see another doctor. She took an early leave to visit hospital. She didn’t tell anybody about this. She reached the hospital and booked a doctor. The doctor got a call from an anonymous number.

Caller: “Doctor I want to say something related to a patient Chinnu Reddy or Revati Miller.” The doctor asked his nurse whether there is a patient whose name is Chinnu or Revati. The nurse found the file named Revati Miller. Doctor said there is a patient Revati Miller.

Caller: “Check her scan and X-ray report. There will be a metal strip. Tell her it is a thread which binds her ligaments. Don’t try to be honest and tell her the truth. Will send you a photo to know the consequences.” A message popped up and the doctor saw his family on gun point.

Doctor: “Who are you and leave my family alone. I don’t know this patient but will tell her what you told me.” The caller end the call and send him a message ‘Put  your phone on speaker mode. We will leave your family safe once we confirm you did as we said.’ Revati was complaining about her uneasiness in her arm. The doctor convinced her there was no problem only the thread inside was getting used to her body. When it is done she will feel ok. Revati noticed the doctor was tensed, he was constantly looking some where. She left the hospital and decided to go office to complete another project she got. Luca got almost all project he applied. Revati got only one project defeating Luca. She had to collaborate with Luca for three more projects. Paul was worried seeing the closeness between Luca and Revati. He know Revati has a crush on Luca but her anger towards him is not allowing her to accept she likes him. He saw how she gets upset when Luca gets late. But when they are together they will fight over small things.

Revati didn’t know somebody was watching her every step. That person knew where she is going what she is feeling everything. It was he who knew when Revati went to another hospital and blackmailed the doctor and make him speak what he said. The thread that was inside Revati was a bio friendly bug which transmits vital status and location of Revati. The doctor was forced to implant it while stitching her wound. They paid him huge amount to keep him mum. That’s why she was feeling unease while going outside.
