Mae woke up and realized she was still dressed she rolled her eyes, looked over and saw Kai wasn't there. She grabbed a glass of water that was left beside her and chugged it. Thankfully she seemed better then she did last time. She got up from her bed and got herself dressed.

She put on a basic t shirt and tight jeans. She walked across the hall and opened Kai's door, he wasn't there. She sighed and made her way downstairs. She walked into the dinning room and saw Ace and Max but no Kai.

" You alright?" Ace asked her.

" Fine" she said sitting down.

" You sure? You seem frustrated " he asked her again.

" I said I'm fine Ace. Leave me alone" she ordered him.

Ace licked his bottom lip and smiled at her " ok" he responded as he poured her a cup of coffee.

" How did the date go?" Ace asked her.

They ate the rest of breakfast in silence and Kai didn't come for breakfast at all. Mae walked around the pack house looking for Kai. Where the hell was he? Mae made her way back into the pack house and went into the library.

" Can't find him?" Ace asked looking at her from whatever book he was reading.

" Nope" she said as she rolled her eyes at him.
