Twenty-Four

Something strange was going on Max wasn't sure what changed but something did. He walked in on Kai and Mae kissing that afternoon and it took him by surprise. But nothing could prepare him for what he saw a few hours later. Ace was kissing Mae and she seemed into it not like he pressured her. When he came in to have supper that night she was kissing Ace while Kai was kissing her neck.

" What's going on?" Max asked them.

" I realized I don't want to fight this feeling amymore" she told him.

" Uh sure" Max responded.

" Theres room for one more brother" Ace told him with a smirk.

" No that's not going to happen" he told his brother.

" You never know" Ace told him.

" I've gotta get going for my book club meeting I'll see you all later" Mae told them.

She leaned over and kissed Kai, then turned her head and kissed Ace. She walked past him and gave him a smile. It was so innocent yet so seductive all at the same time. Max knock those thoughts off he thought to himself. The last thing he needed was to get involved with Mae, it would destroy what he has with Alyssa.

" So uh how did this happen?" Max asked his brothers.

" She just randomly said she no longer wants to resist us. I say it's about time" Ace told him.

" How does Katherine feel about this?" Max asked him.

Ace shrugged his shoulders " She knows how it is" he responded.

" So she knows you're making out with Mae multiple times a day?" Max asked.

" No but she knows I'm playing with her. At night Katherine gets whatever she wants out of me sexually. It's a fair trade" he told Max.

" Sure" Max responded.

" You don't have to understand it. It's just great she's finally stopped fighting us" Ace told him.

" I hate how you word it like that" Kai spoke up.

" Well what would you call it?" Ace asked his younger brother.

" She realized there's more to us then the Alphas that treat her like that. That's how I would word it" Kai told him.

Ace just rolled his eyes " Whatever works for you" he told him.

" So you're f*****g her together? Then you go later and f**k Katherine?" Max asked him.

" No we haven't f****d her. Solo or together" Kai told him.

" Not yet. We're not sending her away for her heat this time. I'm assuming we will have f****d a few times before then" Ace told him.

" Uh no were sending her away during her heat. Since she's not becoming our Luna she doesn't need to bear the heir" Max told him.

Ace groaned "oh s**t you're right I forgot" he replied.

" Can we at least talk about her becoming Luna?" Kai asked them.

They both laughed and shook their heads no " Absolutely not" Max replied.

" If she's a good f**k maybe we can talk about it" Ace responded as he left the room.

" I'm serious I think she would make a good Luna" Kai told Max.

" Well at least someone does" Max said as he too left the room.

He knew at that moment he needed to keep an eye on Mae. He didn't believe for one second she actually wanted to be with his brothers. He wasn't sure what was going on but he was going to figure it out.
