Chapter Five: Off Stage

Alpha Black's POV

"Well?" Alpha Samuel asks once they were all backstage.

Todd speaks up, "I want to let you, Alpha Samuel, and Luna Selene know that I am your daughter, Samantha’s, mate."

"Is that so?" Selene asks with a big smile and winks at Alpha Samuel.

"Well, it looks like we can make the treaty different if Todd and Samantha agree on this deal," I say.

"And what would that be ideal, Alpha Bruce?" Alpha Samuel asks.

"We could combine the two packs into one big pack, but that will be up to the kids," I state, looking at the kids.

Samantha's POV

"Well, since the combining of the two packs will be up to Todd and me, could we get a bit to discuss this before we go on with the ceremony?" I ask everybody.

"We will give you two one hour,” says Alpha Bruce and my father in unison.

"Okay, thank you," I reply.

Both the Alphas and the Lunas head back to the party, awaiting our decision.

"Well, Todd, it looks like it is up to us. Would you be willing to combine the two packs?" I ask my mate.

"It sounds like a good deal to me, because I get to be the Alpha of the biggest pack in America if we do combine them. I agree, let's go give them the news." Todd tells me.

We head off back to the party to find our parents to tell them the news.

"Mom. Dad." Both Todd and I say in unison.

"Yes." Comes their replies.

"We have decided to combine the packs tonight during Todd’s and my wedding ceremony," I state.

Todd winks at me and says, "Let us get this going already."

Todd’s POV

As Samantha and I get ready for the ceremony, I head back into the Alpha’s house to change into my father's tuxedo from when he and my mom got married.

After I dress, I walk up to the stage where the ceremony would be taking place and wait patiently with my best friend, Thomas, and my father for the service to start.

As I look down the aisle, I see my mate’s best friends, Anna and Alexis, lead the wedding party along with my baby sister, Tanisha.

After they take their places across from me, the wedding march begins to play, and my beautiful mate, Samantha, walks down the aisle looking radiant from head to toe.

She gets to the stage and takes my hand in hers.

The priestess of my pack, Maria Montana, recites,

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in this blessed area in front of the Moon Goddess herself." She bows down to Luna Selene White. "To see this lovely young couple be bound together in love and happiness by the mate bond. This isn't a regular wedding, as it is taking place through the mate bond! Todd, please say your vows."

"I, Todd Ricardo Vincento Black, take you. Samantha Angelica White. As my mate and my beloved wife to have and to hold and also bear my pups for eternity. Bless the Moon Goddess for giving me the most wonderful gift of love."

"Now Samantha, please say your vows," Maria says.

"I, Samantha Angelica White, take you, Todd Ricardo Vincento Black, as my mate and husband to have and to hold for eternity. I am grateful for what my mother, Selene White, the Moon Goddess, did by giving me, you, my mate. She knew off-hand what she was doing when she paired us as mates." Samantha smiled.

"Now that Todd and Samantha have said their vows, we will do the blood ceremony! Todd and Samantha, please cut the palm of your left hand with this silver knife."

Both Samantha and I slice our left palms.

"Todd and Samantha, please place your left palms together and repeat after me."

Samantha and I place our palms together.

"As Alpha and Luna of the Blue Moon and the White Moon packs, we vow to protect our family with all that we have."

Samantha and I repeat after Maria.

"I am now proud to give you the Alpha and Luna of the White-Blue Moon pack: Todd and Samantha Black."

The crowd cheers.
