“It’s okay.” I grabbed his hand and smiled at him. I love that he cares but he is honestly driving me crazy. I got released from the hospital the next day and have been off work for a week and I’m going nuts.
The only saving grace I did have is I was able to go to the homecoming football game with everyone and cheer on Dylan, Jordan and Tristian as they coached the football team to their victory against Silverlake, much to Jordan’s dismay. And seeing the kids participate in the parade and the homecoming festivities was amazing. I don’t think I have ever seen them that happy.
