I was in the kitchen of the cabin starting to make lunch for Miles and I when my phone started to buzz like crazy from the counter. Everyone knew where I was and they knew not to bother me unless it was an emergency. The only person who I want to bother me whenever they feel like it is Luna.
I ignored the damn thing, telling myself I would get back to whoever it was when I get a moment. These two weeks are for me and my kid and no one will take that away from us. I couldn’t stop thinking about what Miles wanted to do and to be honest, I am fuckin’ ecstatic with the decision he’s made because he did this on his own with no coercion from anyone.
When he grows up, he’s going to be an amazing man, I just know it.
And like my father, I will support him in whatever decision
