“Are you sure about this?” I turned and asked Luna who was sitting in the passenger seat of my jeep. She’s been silent since we left Finn’s. I don’t blame her. She’s hurt. I know Aiden didn’t mean what he said but that didn’t stop the words from coming out.
He’s scared. We all see it. He’s losing control and when you lose control, it makes things messier, worse and that is something we cannot afford right now, now when so many people are involved and we don’t exactly have the answers.
“Yeah.” She finally turned and said to me. Her eyes were rimmed red. She was crying when I walked into the house as she was surrounded by the girls, “Do you think what I did was wrong? I can’t help but think it was.”
