Both Eden and Austin avoided me for the remainder of the day, I think they meant it as a form of punishment for what I had said, but the silence was a nice reprieve. Finding a nice quiet nook of the house, I sat and looked through a book while the two monsters stormed about the house in a quiet rage. There was a lot to think about as I sat, not reading a single word, flipping through the pages of some leather bound tome. It wasn't until the sun began to set in the sky that I realised I had been staring mindlessly at an encyclopaedia for the better part of several hours. Eventually, I noticed a figure darkening the doorway. "I suppose you're hungry," I said without looking up. The figure approached and took the book from my hands, glancing at it before setting it down on a nearby shelf.
