The winners of the faux match

The Majarlican Demigod Chapter 32: The winners of the faux match Zera Foster stares at me like she really wants to devour me. Brighton, on the other hand, looks as plain as ever. Randall pats my back and smiles like he tells me we will be fine. Somehow, Randall is like an older brother figure. "Zera and Randall will be the captives for the final round. The winner will be the rank one for this activity," Saphrias announced, "Players… Begin!" Brighton swiftly attacked Randall while unleashing his wings, and so I ran to Zera. I opened the quantum pace again and locked Zera in there. She could not say a thing, nor did I have something to tell her, so I left her there. When I came back, Randall was locked up in a sand cage and not moving at all. Brighton put his hand in the air like he was gathering something, and then a shining rod came down. "Is that a sword?!" I asked. "It is," Brighton ran to attack me… Sword? Seriously, does my guardian want to kill me? I dodge his attack by disappearing and reappearing. Disappearing won't work, really, but it's my time. He continued attacking me with a dangerous sword. I unleash my wings and fly. As soon as I reached the clouds, Brighton almost got me already, so I had to reappear to the ground. I'm not scared, but I was unaware I needed to have my sword. Where in heavens will I grab a sword like Brighton did? "ALLY, YOU'RE SO LAME!!!" I looked around to find who it was… Zephyra appeared at the gates and then threw a sword at me. I'm a good catcher, so it wasn't a problem. Calling me lame is! The light got a shadow, so I disappeared again and reappeared to fight Brighton. Our swords are now talking. "I've been waiting for you to get a sword," Brighton whispered. Keep our swords close so we can talk!" He took us up in the air. "What now?!" I asked. "The string earlier was to detect our skills and abilities. It is a blessed string vindicated by the Chief of Celestial Guardians to keep demigods and other non-Majarlican power. If you're actually using your power, that string becomes heavy when attached to you. The maestras will still detect our abilities even after it has been detached for at least 24 hours. We can't talk using telepathy since they know you can't use that skill." Brighton explained. "Really? Then, can the maestros still tell our abilities until this battle?" I asked as I pushed his sword away with mine. Brighton relaunched himself to attack me, "No. But they can measure up the power you emit. I have to hold back a lot today, you know." "WITH THAT POWER YOU JUST FLASHED IN OUR FACES?!" I uttered my surprise. "I'm serious here. I need you to keep absorbing rather than emitting power, or your secret will be out. If you're not yet ready to go to Olympus, do as I say!" –My guardian is ordering me. I can't believe it. I've taken a bit of aback to buy some time. At this moment, I can't measure up to Brighton's physical strength, so I had better make him ruin the shield he had made. That's it! I must make Brighton attack me with a complete blast to break the sand cage… I should've done this earlier. Brighton began pushing me down from mid-air to the ground with high intensity, perfect for smashing the shield where Randall was. When I almost touched the cage, I disappeared to avoid being struck; Brighton broke his trap. I reappeared on his back and pinned him down. Randall regained consciousness, and the whole class cheered. "This activity's winners, Lady Althea and Lord Randall!" Kori announced. (To be continued)
