The Majarlican Demigod Chapter 19: Demigod Sisters                Zephyra just left me on the roof of the castle, knowing that I could not fly, unlike her. It's a good thing that one of the Pandoras — Hasmin, found me and teleported beside me.               "Hey, let's go back in." She said.             "Yeah... I ah, can't fly." I replied.             "Oh, no worries!" She holds on to me then we pass through the quantum. It is a whole new view because it looks like an empty pace with a very galactic background. The next blink, I was with her inside the palace.             "That's really fast, Hasmin. Thanks." I told her.             "You're welcome, Ally," she replied, then she went back to her lemmings.             Brighton walked to me again, "All the bombs have been disassembled, but they have a backup plan, the hypnotic voice," he whispered, "I have to use my voice to nullify it."               Nullify? How many wonders does this cavern hold! He was given too many abilities.               "My sister almost got that person," I told him, "I accidentally hit the shoulder, and it bled. If we are lucky enough, we can catch that person."             "If you're smart enough, you know that your clues weren't enough to catch the person. We need more information aside from the chances that they have removed that cut in the shoulder," he responded to me like an expert detective.             "That person has the same body built like my sister and is approximately five inches taller than her. It has a girl's voice too!" I contested.             He stopped and looked at the ceiling like he was thinking about it, "It's still not enough. Thousands of young girls match that kind of description," he paused. I can't help but roll my eyes at him. "But if we come to think of it, it's hard to get here without an invitation," he said. I'm finally getting his agreement on this, "This palace has high security. Even a demigod can't pass through the level of power they have for this."             "This is a job done by someone who got an invitation from the palace," I added.             "And that's another job for you, Ally. Find that person." then he turned his feet back to the crowd.             "Althea." My father called me. He is standing next to the king behind me. I couldn't believe my eyes. "The king pleased to see you."               I'm not even sure how I should respond. Quick-witted, I snapped out of being starstruck. I bowed in my dress. "It's a pleasure to see you, your highness." I greeted shakily.             "The West is blessed to have a lovely Lady," the king said.             "Thank you, your highness," I responded.             "I hope you had a good time at this ball," the king said to us.             "We did, your majesty," my father responded while I remained head down to my dress.               The party is officially over, and I never had a chance to dwell on it. It's a shame. I just dressed up to detach bombs, then tomorrow we will go back to Centralia for our training.  Together with my dad, Zephyra, and Talia, I have to go back to our own palace as other people go too. My heart is heavy as our carriage pass through the bridge.               "You, three, where have you been?" Father asked.             We're in the palace," I answered.             "Then why is your sister running to get inside?" he asked again.               I looked at Zephyra, who looked guilty.               "We're outside the palace, uncle," Talia trying to save us, "We have a good time outside with our schoolmates in Centralia, then we introduced Zephyra to them."               Father looked thoroughly on us from me to Zephyra and vice versa.               "Outside the castle is still within the premises of the palace, Father. We're sorry if we went outside without asking for permission from you." I said, trying to calm down our mad father.             "I just hope that no one else saw how my two daughters fly to the roof of the castle because, as far everyone knows, you two cannot fly," Father answered back.               Zephyra's ability to fly is a secret too.               "And no one also knows that my sisters and I would never die, Daddy," Zephyra mumbled.             "Come again, Zephyra?" Father sounds a little agitated.             “It's nothing." my sister responded.             "I will never let you go with me to any invitation, Zephyra. You're such a big mess," he stated.             "Father, we are sorry for our thoughtless action. Please don't scold her." I said.               It's embarrassing my sister in front of Talia. I know that we're like sisters with Talia already, but it's still not right.               "I don't know where I go wrong with raising you. I think it will be better if you Zephyra will study with your sister in Centralia so your older cousins can look after you as well," he said. I must admit that I'm surprised about his sudden decision. It's not that I don't want Zephyra to be with me, but Centralia is neither the safest place for her. My sister remained silent and giving us a poker face.               When we reached home, Talia and I went straight to my room.               "We are so close to being busted earlier. Why did you climb up to the roof?" Talia asked, sitting on my bed.             "Zephyra saw the mysterious lullaby songstress in the palace roof. I don't know what she is exactly doing to that person, but it can't move. We tried to catch it, but her backup came and attacked us." I responded.             "What? Your sister is very courageous," she said. "She tried to catch on her own without knowing how that person works."             "I know. I'm afraid my sister gets into trouble for being so dauntless." I said.             "Well, your little sister is going to the same school. Besides, I don't think that's gonna be helped," she added. "I'm just so sad."             "Why?" I asked her.             "I dressed up for the party as a guest, not as a military backup," Talia sighed, "I'm just trying to tell myself that at least I've got to save the Imperial Palace. Still, I'm sad because I was not able to enjoy it." she lied down to bed.             I can't help but laugh. "At least you're not the only one."             She turned her face on me, "Yeah, right."               We then changed our clothes and tucked ourselves into bed. Talia fell asleep right away. One of the perks of being an immortal is that I don't really feel tired quickly, maybe a bit, but not like any other kids out there. All the lights were off in our castle, and I didn't hear many people walking around. They must've fallen asleep too.               Estimated an hour later, I heard a disturbing noise outside my room. I got up and walked to my door. When I tried to peek from the inside, the hallway lights were on again. I opened the door and saw my father heading outside. All the flags inside were raised, too, which means all of the security is up. I ran to him as fast as I could.               "Father, wait!" I ran, I made fast.             "Do not go outside. Look after your siblings," he said before he got to the West's official carriage. "I will be back."               I'm concerned about the situation, especially it's in the middle of the night.               "What just happened?" I asked our butler.             "Lady Ally, the first district was attacked by the unknown people. They bombarded the residence nearby the boundary of first district and second district," he replied.             "It's dangerous to go out. Why did you let father go there?" I asked.             We're sorry, Lady Ally, but we the duke was persistent," he said.             I responded with a sigh, "I'll go to Marzia and Amari's room." While heading to my sisters' room, I am thinking about going with my father.               At Marzia and Amari's room, the little girls were soundly sleeping with their nannies. I can't be in two places at the same time. My sisters also needed me to watch over them, and besides, my father might find me a nuisance. I headed to Zephyra's room to see how is she. The door was locked, so I knocked once. No response. I squeezed myself inside her room and saw her. She hides inside the blanket, which she usually does, so I walked to her bedside and tried to uncover her.               To my surprise, my sister isn't there. I checked the balcony, and I saw the ladder... She must've followed our father!               "Zephyra!" trying to check if she's really not here. "Zephyra!"... She's not answering.               I went outside to check on the little girls again. Their nannies are pretty much awake, "Please guard the girls carefully. I need to attend on something." I told them, and they acknowledged my order with a bow .             I took my red cape for not-so disguising purposes. Before I left, Talia saw me.               "Where are you going?" she sits on the bed, scratching her right eye.             "I have to follow Zephyra to the boundary of the second district. There's a bombing incident in that place. She followed our father." I briefly explained.             "I'm coming with you. I can take us there easier." Talia stands beside me.               We take the back door to silently leave the palace. She lighted up our sandals so they would fly. It's scary and hot.               "Don't worry, it won't burn you!" she said as we took on the sky.               Zephyra might have flown far already. Though the first district isn't that big, the boundary is still far. From a bit far, there is a big fire in the area. West people are mostly mind-masters with some kinesthetics, so this fire is something that they might not be able to handle. Talia and I dropped off the place so she could ease the fire since she could control it. She commanded the fire to lift up in the air, then when it's all in there, she threw right on the sea, and it died.               We're not that late, but some properties have been burned already. Another cost for First District. I just can't believe that someone can harm hundreds of people. I tried to hide my face from the people, then asked Talia for us to keep moving. I was trying to look around while flying, then I saw another girl not so far from me, flying.               "Zephyra!" I shouted.               She looked my way-- It is my sister.               "Stop!" I said.             She paused from flying, and so Talia and I did. We are all floating in the air.             "Where are you going?" I asked her.             "I'm following daddy! I saw the bad person coming here in West they followed us from the party. They already knew who the children of Zephrias are!" she said worriedly.             "What?" I blurted out.               Then we heard another explosion from the boundary's direction.   (To Be Continued)
