Chapter 7: Kingdom Majarlika lesson 101

"I'll see you around," said the guy who saved my life. Then he walked inside the campus and left me in awe.

He said his name is Rupert Luxembourg, which sounds very familiar. He's almost one foot taller than me with a fair complexion, wavy hair with a clean cut, a pair of brown eyes, and a pointed nose.

"Are you alright?" Talia asked. "You're susceptible to accidents."

"I'm ok," I replied, "Let's keep going, guys."

"You seemed awestruck by that Eagle guy," Hans chuckled at me.

"No, I'm not." a calm tone of denial.

Well, I obviously was, but I will not admit that.

"Ok. You say so." Hans said.

We reached the youngsters' building, passing through the preschoolers who were having their physical exercises. Our homeroom is located on the first floor, so getting there is easy.

Kori was already in the classroom when we reached our classroom.

"Oh, hey!" Kori warmly greeted. "You must be Talia Astarte from the first district of West. Welcome aboard!" she called Talia.

My brows met when somebody caught my attention.

"Hi!" Hans waved at him, and that person waved back.

"Good morning Estudiantes de Primiera Academia!" Kori greeted, "I would like all of you to stand up because we are rearranging your seats. Everyone, stand right there at the back already. Wait for my call and sit where I asked you to. Are we in agreement?"

We scattered at the back, waiting for Kori's call. There were twenty-four vacant seats, but there were only 16 in this class, meaning the remaining chairs and table will remain empty.

"The first four people I will call will also be the first group." Kori reads something in her folder, "So, let me have Miss Xanthal Jones, Lord Randall Pandora. Please be seated here." she points to the first two seats in front of the window. "And then Lord Hamilton Jèan Les Voir, please sit at the back of Miss Xanthal. And to complete the first group, may I have Miss Ninna Adorre seated beside Lord Hamilton."

"Gosh, I hope we will be in the same group," Talia whispered, clinging to my forearm.

"For group number two, may I call Young Master Hermenigildus Hans Salazaria, Miss Talia Astarte." Kori continued, "Then Prince Rupert Luxembourg, please sit at the back of Miss Talia and Lady Hasmin Pandora at the back of Lord Hans."

Talia and I exchanged a surprised look. Why do they have to be in one group? And they are with the prince? Rupert is the prince of Kingdom Majarlika, and the guy who saved them is the same person! I hope the palace guards won't jail me up.

"We will have Prince Roux Luxembourg, Miss Zera Foster, down to our third group. Please take these seats." Kori tapped on the fifth and sixth table, "Then, Lady Heavenly Victoria Pandora, please be seated at the back of Prince Roux and Honorable Junior Councilor— Young Master Brighton Luke Salazaria at the back of Miss Zera Foster." Kori breathed and returned to her table to drink from her water jug.

The three other people with me looking at each other. So, we were the fourth group.

"Now, the fourth group: Lady Winslett and Lord Aldano Evan Echavaria." she looks at them and instructs them where to sit. "And, of course, Lady Althea West is at the back of Lord Evan, and one of the new guys here is Young Master Imman Holster at the back of Lady Winslett."

Talia and Hans both eyed me and smiled at each other. They're trying to tease me.

"Everyone now has their permanent seats," Kori said with a happy face. "As you can notice, each group has one Natural Skill, Mind skill, Elemental Skill, and Kinesthetic Skill. Let's tackle it."

In Kingdom Majarlika, there were four types of Special Skills.

Natural skills are types of Skills that convert themselves into something of nature, such as animals, copying other humans as camouflage or shapeshifting, a guise to surrounding, producing minerals such as gold, pearl, silver, crystal, diamond etc. Also people who can breathe life into an object and healing powers.

Kinesthetic Skills don't transform into something else, but they have a different levels of strength and exaggerated power compared to normal ones. Examples: defying gravity is commonly known as flying or levitating; sonic speed, multiplying themselves into more than one identical self; super strength, teleport, shrinking themselves or making themselves big; ultra stretching power, jumping sky-high, breathing underwater for life, or mermaid skill.

Mind skills are walking through, reading, and talking through your mind. Telepathy is a popular mind skill. Quantum tunneling, also known for 'passing-through-the-wall.' Suspends someone's motion, commands through her mind not limited to sleeping, creates an illusion via hypnotism, controls objects by touching them, sees other people's dreams and adventures on it and invisibility.

For an apparent reason, Elemental Skills is a skill that allows one person to control elements. Like who we have here, they can command water, fire, earth, and air to go a particular direction or do something for them or give it a different shape. Some other commanders can control rain, storms, cyclones, thunder and lightning, hailstorms, tidal waves, tsunamis, and tornadoes.

"Maestra!" the bright student called Kori.

"Yes, Young Master Brighton, do you have a question?" Kori asked. "Please stand up."

He then stood up, "Is there a possibility that one person can have 2 different skills at the same time? I'm not sure if anyone knows about the mutation of DNAs when a person is an offspring of a supernatural and a mutant."

"Well, Brighton, that's actually correct." Kori said, "Please be seated. There's a DNA mutation if a person is an offspring of a supernatural and a mutant. They are the ones who most probably develop 2 different skills. But it is not always the situation. You will tackle that in your Episteme later with Maestro Augustus."

Kori went back in front and added few more words below the first four words:

Celestial. Deity» Minor, Major. Majarlican.
