Amber’s POV.
“You sent for me.” I said softly as I approached him, I positioned myself beside him while he kept his eyes glued to the night sky.
“I wanted to see you again,” he turned and his blue eyes rested on me, “so tell me what have you been up to?”
“Nothing much, just the usual chores in the kitchen except things are a bit hectic with the moon celebration coming up.”
He fell silent afterwards and I decided to ask him the questions that had been on my mind lately.
“Are you close to Zeus?” I asked as I peered up at his face. His expression didn’t change but I saw him clench his teeth.
“Not really, I won’t say we were really close. I mean, we were but then he changed in school and I didn’t want to be associated with a bully.”
