Amber's POV.
I waited patiently for Alpha Zeus in front of his study. He had been so busy with the council members all day, and I couldn't even get a glimpse of him until he walked out of the meeting hall and approached his study. I didn't even notice him until he was standing directly in front of me.
"Are you sleeping?" I heard his voice from my spot on the floor where I had crouched. I looked up immediately and found him staring down at me with amusement in his eyes. Jonathan was right behind him, and his lips curved upwards.
