Jonathan had traced the money that had been taken from the treasury to an old store at the outskirts of town. It didn’t seem like a big deal until I looked into the deed of the store and realized that the land was gifted by my father to Elder Bloom, a female member of his council that had gone rogue a few years after my father became the Alpha.
I didn’t understand what her connection with Baldwin was but one thing was for certain, they had some sort of link for him to keep the money with her.
So I told Jonathan of what Amber had mentioned in my study before the moon celebration and he advised that we look into Baldwin.
