After Jonathan had interrupted Amber and I, he led me to the prison yard and into the prison building. The we walked straight into the torture room, reserved specially for prisoners.
Inside the torture chamber, a young maid was tied to a chair. She looked badly bruised and unconscious.
The room was dark, and there were bloodstains on the walls. The chair she was tied to was the type that should have scared her enough to extract a confession from her after setting her eyes on it.
But, according to Jonathan, she had not said much since she was taken into custody.
