CASSIAN'S POV
Time was moving by quickly. A few months had passed since Sloane and I got married and she'd contributed a great deal to the pack during this time.
Things were still slow between us, but we'd at least gotten rid of that awkward tension in the air and I was getting along well with her kid.
It would clearly be only a matter of time before things progressed to the next level.
"Alpha," Mateo called, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes." I looked up at him.
"It's time for the meeting." He said.
"Have you passed on my message to the council members?" I asked.
