SLOANE'S POV
The meeting was held in the fire hall. It was my first time there, I in fact had no idea such a place existed.
All the council members were gathered, including Elder Lucas, Beta Elijah and a few decision makers of the pack.
This seemed more like a sentence than a meeting to elect the next leader.
Luna Maggie was already seated when I arrived, and beside her was Callen, who looked less confident than he normally did. Was that fear in his eyes?
I took my seat at the front and waited for a few more people to come in before the meeting proceeded.
The doors of the hall were shut and silence was allowed to travel around the room.
