SLOANE'S POV
When I got back home from work, it was late evening. I still felt a bit nauseous and tired from what happened earlier.
Thankfully, the meeting was rounded up quickly.
I arrived a few minutes before dinner was served, but chose to eat in my room.
I knew Thalia might feel a bit guilty, worrying that this was her fault, but I was simply too tired to join them.
Besides, the lights in the dining area would only increase my nausea and I needed to rest early.
I showered and changed into a blue night dress before asking the omegas to bring in my dinner.
After eating, I went straight to bed. I was supposed to go to Toby's room first as I hadn't seen him in almost two days, but I was too tired to do so.
