SLOANE'S POV
I was taking the day off.
The last few days had been very busy for me, especially because I had to add taking care of Cassian to that.
Now, it was time to take a break, if I needed to maintain my sanity.
I got up from bed sluggishly, every bone in my body aching as I did. I was completely exhausted.
"Achoo!" I sneezed into my hands.
To make matters worse, I was down with a cold. I must've gotten it from Cassian while watching him.
I made my way to the bathroom and came out a few minutes later, feeling worse than I had been earlier.

"Come in," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
