SLOANE'S POV
I was attending a meeting with Cassian today, in respect of the upcoming banquet.
He briefed me about the first meeting I didn't attend and told me how to handle the meeting if anything should come up.
When we arrived, the council members were already seated. Thanks to all the meetings and tension I'd experienced at Silver Crescent, I was confident that I would be able to handle anything here.
There was no mean step family, no one trying to get my position, no one publicly hating me for no good reason.
I was certain I could handle anything else that didn't involve this. Besides, the people here were really nice to me.
The meeting began normally. Each sub division of the Northern kingdom brought up their issues and suggestions.
