CHAPTER 31
SLOANE'S POV
The meeting soon came to an end. I was so exhausted I could barely stand erect.
Things were getting more complicated now, and i didn't even know where to start.
"Sloane,"
I turned around. Beta Elijah.
"Hi Beta," I tried to smile.
"I apologise for Luna Maggie's rudeness." He said. "She..."
"She just wants the best for her son and it I'm clearly in the way." I said before he could finish. "I understand that."
"You know, you remind me so much of your mother."
"Thanks," I smiled. Although, I'd never met her, I could feel she was a nice person.
"Hang in there," he patted my shoulders before leaving.
I returned to the pack house, desperate to get a little sleep. But first I needed to check on Toby.
