CASSIAN'S POV
I was working in my office when Thalia informed me that Sloane had collapsed.
That worried me a bit, especially because I knew how she'd stayed up all night to watch after me.
"Alpha," Mateo called.
"Huh?" I looked up.
"Your sister asked me to inform you that the Luna is better now." He said.
My brows snapped up. "Why didn't she come herself?"
"Well..."
"Does she suddenly feel bad for being a nuisance all this time?" I cut in without allowing him to finish.
"She says she has something important to take care of." He said with a smile.
"I see," I nodded slowly. "Have Freya bring in the documents that need urgent attention. Sloane should not have too many tasks when she returns to work."
"Okay Alpha." Mateo bowed and left the room.
