SLOANE'S POV
I left for work very early the next morning, leaving Toby in Thalia's care.
She'd stayed with him the whole night and somehow that put me at ease. I was able to get enough rest and recover from the dizziness I felt yesterday.
I rushed to work without even bothering to see Toby. He had an appointment with a doctor this evening, it was important I got off work before then.
Files were piled up on my desk as soon as I arrived, most of which had been delivered from Silver Crescent.
Now that I was the next Alpha in line, they requested my approval for almost everything. I even had to meet with Beta Elijah by the weekend.
I was soon behind my desk, trying to cover as much as I could. Freya walked into the office with a letter that had been delivered via mail box.
