CASSIAN'S POV
Time moved by slowly, things in the Pack were a little more progressive since Sloane came.
She insisted on keeping herself busy with the minor pack issues and that had reduced the work load.
"Having a Luna isn't a bad thing afterall." Frost said.
"I guess." I agreed.
"Alpha," Mateo called, standing in front of my desk with a stack of files. I'd completely forgotten that he'd been there for a while.
"Yes." I turned to him, but my eyes were still fixed on what I was reviewing.
"The elders have agreed on a date," he said. "For the meeting."
"Okay." I nodded. "So what's next?"
"You'll have to meet with King Aurelius." Mateo said.
