SLOANE’S POV
The previous evening.
I closed the door after receiving my schedule for the next day from Penelope.
At first glance, I could sense something was off.
The location for the first meeting was the Vault room, 10:30pm.
I'd overheard some Alphas talking. That building had been marked for demolition. So why on earth was it on my schedule.
"You think she's lying don't you?" Scarlett asked.
"Oh dear. I know she is." I snorted, feeling irritated at just the thought of her.
I would've considered it some sort of typo if someone else had delivered it, but seeing it was Penelope, I realised it was quite expected.
