Chapter 3

338 Words
Hannah's story hunted me, her story made me feel like life was not fair to all, because her only offense was wanting a good life, and as for the man he was later arrested but he denied ever knowing them (Hannah and her friend), because no evidence was pointing to him. When my parents found out about Hannah, my mother precisely advised me to learn from her story, and my father didn't even say anything about it. I wondered if that was really all, after all it is human life in question. mind you my parents were not wicked people, I guess they have seen a lot of similar cases, and they were behaving like typical Nigerian parent, because I remember my classmates telling their friends that their parents warn them to learn from Hannah story, although some sympathized with her but deep down I wish justice was found for Hannah. A month later, a lot of people already forgot about Hannah but the memories of her story and all was engraved in my memories. How unjust her case was attended to, in fact I thought of what could have possibly killed her, because she was fine and responding to treatment, in fact everything seemed to be going well, except for the fact that her left leg was amputated and the school already paid therapist for her mental well-being.so what could have gone wrong I question myself. Nobody was talking about Hannah's case. unlike before a few whispers here and there, but now it looks like Hannah never existed. Hannah made me wish I was in the science department, like I have always wanted. I will try my best to help teenagers like Hannah, come to think of it I could be a human right advocate, it seems like a better option, since we are the mouth piece of the entire human race like my government teacher would always say. I promise to talk and fight for teenagers like Hannah I refuse to let anyone suffer Hannah's fate.
