Chapter 5

With WEAC out of the way I felt relieved and anxious for my results and at the same time jamb that is around the corner.

My parents wanted to be sure that I am well prepared for my jamb but I wanted a little break you no moreover they is a saying all work no play makes jack a dull boy.

I made plans with Ezekiel to meet up at a coffee junction down my street though I didn't think my parents will agree to such plan I was only pushing my luck and was surprised when my mom accepted though I was only given an hour all still I never expect her to accept.

my meet up was brief as I don't want to disappoint my parent and earn more restrictions from them, Ezekiel and I discussed a lot mostly about schools and the like and a little bit personal details like I got to know he lost his mom when he was ten and he is only staying with a nanny as of now because his dad chose to hustle elsewhere and he found a new love there and he did not want to make his new family uncomfortable so he thought he never asked him according to what he said but I still think he should listen to his daddy side of story it might not be what he thought

our conversation ended on a lighter note as we discussed about school more

Although I am not expecting much from my university lifestyle I don't even know if I will be staying in hostel or with my parents though deep down I wish I would stay with my parents as I have never experienced life without their daily intervention like I am so used to them in my space.
