10 Looking at the calendar on the dingy wall next to the rear door of his mother’s home, brought fond memories of her checking what was in store for her family each day. She made sure he and Bradley, along with their dad, never forgot any of their events. He slipped over, flipped through its pages in search of the date, Saturday, January 16th, the day that drastic changes were indelible. No one had penned anything on the spot, so with a quick hand, he withdrew the marker from the holder and wrote ‘moving day’ in the space.
