She turned her head slowly, scanning the office again, and there it was, Daniella’s framed photo hanging proudly on the wall behind the large desk
She cursed under her breath.
Alicia folded her arms and leaned back in her chair with a smirk. “I manage other companies, too. This one? It’s my baby. I’m barely around here, but I like to keep an eye on things. Didn’t you even bother to research the CEO before applying?”
Becky cursed inwardly again. Damn! She hadn’t. All she cared about was finding a role that would make Lucas regret ever looking down on her. She hadn’t even bothered to check the company profile properly. She was too focused on appearances, status… revenge.
