Amaya let out a short laugh and shook her head slowly, her arms crossing in front of her chest. “You must be delusional to think you and Lucas are worth it,” she said, her tone dripping with mockery. “Just look at her. Does Daniella look so cheap to you? News flash, she can buy both you and that stupid Lucas without breaking a sweat. What are you even doing here?”
Alicia didn’t speak. She folded her hands, quietly enjoying the drama.
Becky turned again, now facing Amaya with a pleading voice. “Please… can I talk to you in private? It won’t take much of your time.”
Alicia finally broke her silence. “I’ll go inside and see what your staff are up to.”
