Amelie’s POV
It took me a minute to register what the man had said. I could barely lift my head, and my brain felt foggy. I felt like I had been drugged. OMG… I was drugged. HOW? I tried to clear my head, but the effects of the drugs were strong.
I felt a hand caress my knee.
“You are quite beautiful, sweetheart,” he spoke.
Sweetheart? My blood ran cold, Jonathan! I tried to lift myself off the bed, but my body betrayed me. What was he going to do to me? I gulped hard as his hand traveled up my leg from my knee to my thigh.
Tears started to well up in my eyes. Please no. “NO!” I screamed in my mind, but the words wouldn’t come out. He was going to take my virginity by force, and there wasn’t a single thing I could do.
