Nathan’s POV
I’m really starting to dread these business trips for acquisitions. Samuel and I got a tip on Tuesday night that there was an investment group looking for a merger or buyout in San Francisco. Getting into California would be a huge addition to our move out West. The only problem is that we needed to fly out on Wednesday morning. So here we are on a plane out to San Francisco while Amelie is home studying for her exams.
I gave the front desk and Trudy strict instructions that only Grandfather and Tiff were allowed in the penthouse. God knows the lengths Madison would go to, to get to Amelie. I also advised Marcus that he should be the only person to drive Amelie anywhere. Marcus is staying at the penthouse for a couple of days to make sure he is at Amelie’s full disposal.
