To say I was shocked is an understatement. He didn’t just say what I think he just did. Did he? I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out.
“Hear me out, Amelie,” he said, sitting beside me. “When I visited my grandfather, he told me he wanted to retire as CEO.”
“That means you’d be the permanent CEO, Nathan. That is amazing!” She exclaimed.
