Nathan’s POV
After visiting Dante and Dutton, Zander needed a rest, so his nurse took him upstairs. Grandfather had a room set up for him and advised Amelie that he should probably stay the night and rest. Amelie hesitantly agreed.
“I guess we should make the rounds,” I stated. “I’d rather just go home, cuddle, and watch a movie.”
Amelie leaned into me and whispered, “That sounds heavenly, Nathan.”
“Nathan,” a man said as he approached us, “Congratulations on the engagement!”
“Thank you, Frances,” I replied. “Please meet my beautiful fiancée, Amelie.”
“Pleased to meet you,” Amelie said demurely.
