Nathan’s POV
I couldn’t take my eyes off Amelie in the car. She always looks gorgeous, but tonight there was something different. A confidence or an air of royalty that encapsulated her. It was breathtaking. Maybe it was because I knew that in a short few hours, the world would know she was mine. I smiled to myself.
“What are you smiling about?” Amelie questioned.
“Just thinking about tonight,” I stated. “I can’t wait to see the look on Alfred’s face.”
“Oh my gosh, I didn’t even think about that,” Amelie giggled.
