Amelie’s POV
An hour later, I emerged from Dr. Yvonne’s office with a new sense of renewal and encouragement. Dr. Yvonne thought it best to schedule at least a couple of more appointments this week, but I asked her if it was OK if I could come in daily. I knew she would probably be too busy to fit me in, but she said she could definitely fit me in each day this week. I also booked Monday and Tuesday next week as well. I think Nathan had some pull in getting me to see her so soon. I was completely grateful for that, however.
Dr. Yvonne is an amazing therapist. I have never been so at ease with a stranger as I was with her. It was like she really listened to me with no judgment. Trust me, I had a lot of things bottled up. I haven’t had the easiest life, but she listened like I was her own
