“Thank you so much, Charlie,” I thanked her. “You made me feel so comfortable and confident today.”
“Aw, Amelie, you are a beautiful person inside and out. Remember that!” Charlie declared.
We walked down the stairs and to the front check-out counter.
“Do you have anything else you would recommend, Charlie?” Morgan asked.
“We certainly do,” Charlie answered. “Lotions, perfumes, toys.”
“Hey,” Kimmy said. “Where’s the toy section?”
“Kimmy!” I exclaimed.
“What?” Kimmy feigned innocence and shrugged her shoulders.
“Just this way, ladies,” Charlie led the way.
“We have a really nice new line of products that smell like lilies,” Charlie said, pointing at a display. “Back here are the toys.” She pointed to a separate room.
