It was official. I am now the winner of the student position at Michaels Investment Group. I was on cloud 9.
We exited the restaurant and loaded back in the car.
“We just need to drop Samuel back at the office so he can drop off the documents and pick up his car. Then we’ll drive you home,” Nathan said.
“You don’t need to do that. I can take the subway,” I stated.
“Absolutely not, Amelie,” Nathan frowned at me, “I need to make sure you make it home safe.”
