I’ve only known Nathan briefly, and I’ve fallen for him. I can’t believe his company donated so much to the dog rescue. I had heard so much about him being a cold-hearted playboy CEO, yet I hadn’t seen that side of him.
“Nathan,” I said as he walked back to the table, “I can’t believe Michaels Investment Group is making such a large donation!” I smiled so big my face hurt.
“It’s just how we like to give back,” he stated.
“Amelie, there is something I want to talk to you about,” he said, then sat and turned to me. “I know you have just started with the company, but I know your passion would help you succeed in a project I want to start. I want you to head the new project for the dog rescue center.”
