Dark Night Pack

Chapter 8

Jace POV

"Alpha the men are ready to attack the White Light pack." My beta Issac told me as he entered my office.

"Ok let's head out. I want 78 men with me and we will go to the school. Divide the rest of the men and you go with one of the groups and take the rest of the pack." I informed him and we both left the office. We made it outside where all of my men were waiting to be given instruction.

" Right there are going to be 5 groups one group of 78. All of you will be with me. 90 of you will go with Issac and take the south side. 56 will take the North-West of the pack, 65 will take the East and the last group will take the West and there will be 92 of you in that group. If you die walk it off. That will be all. I said loudly and clearly.

"Let's move out my group we are taking the school." And with that 78 of my men and I walked in the direction of the school.

Sky POV

It was Friday lunch time. Me, Kyle and Josh were sat on a bench outside eating food in the sun away from the other student again.

"Come on you have to admit that it was funny." Josh was saying. "No it wasn't it was pure idiotic and stupid. What do you even like that programme everything is obviously fake." Kyle said with a bored tone. All I did was roll my eyes at their stupid argument about I programme I think...

"Guys we need to about what we need when we are leaving." I said trying to get them to talk about something serious, but they still didn't listen. I groaned and put my head on the table.

All of a sudden there was screaming and shouting from other students. We all stood up on full alert Josh and Kyle stood in front of me in a defensive position. My head looked at the scene before me frantically. The we saw the Dark Night pack. The most deadly of packs, they kill for no reason, their pack bigger than any other werewolf pack. The only reason I can think of why they are here is that their Alpha wants revenge for what Alpha Logan did years ago. But that's what Mike said when I was younger he never said what he actually did.

" SKY RUN ! GET OUT OF HERE! GO WE WILL FIND YOU JUST GO!" Kyle yelled at me fighting off some of the Dark Night pack. I looked at my two best friends one last time and I turned and ran towards the wood where I can be safe. I almost there when someone grabbed hold of my arm and pulled me back roughly.

"And where do you think your going princess?" The man said in a sickening sweet voice. "Let me go you d**k!" I shouted at the random person who was dragging me across the grass back towards the school.

"No can do princess. My Alpha wants everyone from the school in front of him. So that he can kill all of you." He replied.

We got closer to the school and I saw everyone from my pack outside crying shaking in fear of what might happen. Then there was this amazing smell it was fresh oranges and mangos mixed together and I couldn't get enough of it. My wolf was jumping up and down in excitement. In amongst my thoughts I didn't realise that we stopped walking until the strange man spoke.

"Alpha this she-wolf tried to escape. What would you like to do with her? " he asked. But the words that came out of the Alpha's mouth struck me the most.

"MINE!" I looked up at him and I could smell the fresh oranges and mangos. My eyes widened in shock.

'Mate! Go to him!' Sasha yelled at me but I couldn't move.

My so called mate was wearing a white T-shirt with short sleeves showing his tattoos arms, he had a tattoo of a feather on his neck next to another. He had a lip piercing and also ear and nose pierced. He had the most blue eyes I had ever seen, his hair is black and short. I was pulled away from looking at my mate when my name was shouted. "Sky what are you doing?! Get away from him!" Josh grabbed my wrist and started to pull me away from my mate , who let out a treating growl making everyone stop what they were doing and look towards us.

"Let. Hi. Of. Her." My mate said through clenched teeth glaring at Josh his eyes turned a pure black. Josh only pushed me behind him. That only made my Alpha mate pissed off even more.

"No."

That was the last time I will ever hear Josh's voice. As soon as the word left his mouth my so called mate snapped Josh's neck. Josh's lifeless body fell to the ground, tears rushing down my face. I knelt down next to my best friends body. That's when I heard Kyle's voice.

"Sky what are you doing here-" I turned around to see Kyle emerge from the crowd that had formed and looking pissed off. Kyle came up to me and looked at Josh then to my mate who's eyes were darker than black. Kyle let out a growl, I could see the tears in his eyes but I knew he wouldn't let them fall.

"You bastard why the f**k did you kill him!?" Kyle was now shaking. My eyes went wide to what he said and towards an Alpha at that!

" yeah so what ?! What are you going to do pup?!" My mate said. My eyes went widened even more I'd that was even possiblr. What happened next was a blur to me, bout but it was like it happened in slow motion.

Josh charged at my mate. As my mate got a hold of a sliver knife only touching the black handle and cut the side of Kyle's throat and did the same on the other side. As Kyle fell towards the ground I ran towards him with my mate watching my every move. I sat on the grass and carefully put Kyle's head on my lap.

, I started to stroke his hair as he began to speak.

"S-sorry S-Sky I-I d-didn't know t-that h-he-"

"Shh it's fine. J-just keep your eyes on me. Everything will be fine. And we are going travelling together just like we planned." I cut Kyle off my eyes drifting to his bloody neck and placed both my hands on either side of his neck to try and stop the bleeding. I heard a growl when I mentioned travelling but I just ignored it knowing it was my mate.

Klye looked into my eyes tears falling onto his face his hand reaches out and cups my cheek and I leaned into his touch, I lowered my head down so that my ear was by his lips so that he could whisper...

After Kyle spoke my eyes went wide and more tears fell I pulled away and looked in his eyes to see that he was gone. The light that once there everyday was gone. I felt sparks erupt on both my arms and lifted me up and away from Kyle's dead body. I tried to get him off of me but he was too strong, so I stopped fighting.
