Chapter 9

Sky POV

I couldn't move. Tears stung my eyes and rolled down my cheeks as I looked at my only two best friends dead bodies on the floor. My wolf stopped her yipping when we watched Josh die. I didn't care what was going on around me ,all I heard was " Jack put my mate in my car and guard it in case she tries escape. We are going to see what the others have done and how much of White Light pack is left." My mate said to this Jack person.

"Yes Alpha." The man said and took my are gently and guided to the car. As I was walking I didn't take my eyes of off friends, memories rushed into my head all of the good and bad times making me cry even more louder instead of being silent. I could tell Jack didn't know what to do.

We reached the car and he opened the door for me ,I got in without a word. My crying had ceased but still tears ran down my face. I could feel Sasha becoming less sad and more angry with what my mate did. All I could think about is what Kyle said. I knew what he meant as I felt the same way.

I could smell my mate in the distance. I just stared outside the window with no emotions on my face. "Yes Alpha." That was all I need to know that he was close by. Minutes passed and he got in the car, I could feel his gaze on the back of my head.

"What do you want?" I asked irrited by his stare as I scooted closer to the window. And he let out a warning growl.

'Ops I think we just pushed some of his buttons Sasha said and I mentally laughed at her.

"Do not talk to me like that. I am your Alpha and your mate at that so you will show me respect!" He said loudly, at some point the car started and the scenery was moving by fast.

"Ok no need to shout." I rolled my eyes and put my chin in the palm of my hand.

"Hahaha omg good one that will piss him off a little more." I thought I could sense Sasha laugh.

"You could have had gotten my respect but that went out the window." I added.
