Chpater 13

Jace's pov

As soon as we got in the car Sky put her headphones on pluged them in her phone and started to blast the music.

" I'm sorry for Sky. She doesn' t get on with orders that well. She prefers to stay in her bedroom draw, and listen to music and read." Mike said looking at Sky who bobed her head to the music as she stared at the window.

"It's ok I will get used to it. Are you related to Sky?" I asked still looking at my mate who was now mouthing the words of her song which was 'Just like fire'.

"She listens to very loud music our mate does." My wolf said.

"No I'm her social worker. She has been living with me since she was 5. She has gone to foster families but things....... Kind of went wrong..... She did live with the other ophane's but Sky....she... Erm..... Doesn't get on with other's very well.... " Mike said making me turn my head suddenly. "What!? Where are her parents then!?" I was starting to get angry at the fact that Sky's parents just abounded her when she was still a pup. Why doesn't she get on with others? What happened in those foster families? There were many questions running through my head.

Mike could easily see what I was about to ask and how I was feeling. " It's a long story Alpha and it is best that it comes from Sky." All I did was nod my head ' ' yes '.

Sky pov

When i was listening to music I could tell Alpha Jace was getting stressed and angry, damn mate bound why was it ever created? I linked my hands together and streached them out in front of me. Which was a bad idea because the deep Cuts I made the other day and stitched up just broke and I could already feel the blood seeping in through the bandages that I still had on and go through my clothes.

SHIT. f**k. GOD DAMN IT. I slowly turned to look at Alpha Jace and Mike to only see them already looking at me with worry, corncer and confusion in their eyes. I could see their mouths move but I couldn't hear anything, until Mike took my phone and ipod and paused my music and took away my headphones forcing me to listen to them and most likely anwsering question. I grabbed my wrist and scooted even further away from both of them just in case Jace decided to find what caused the bleeding. I brought my knees up to my chest and buryed my face making me look like I just curled up.

" Sky are you even listening to us? Why can we smell blood on you?" I heard Mike say. He knew that I wasn't listening and that was starting to piss him off.

Ugh. Why did the cut have to open up now? And go through to my sleeves I can't pass this a being on my period Like I did in the bathroom the other day.

"SKY!" My head shot up from where it was and my eyes found a pair of pure black ones filled with anger that belonged to my mate.

" WHAT THE f**k DO YOU WANY?!" I yelled pissed off again. Did he not rember the Alpha tone and command doesn't work on me.

" We are asking you why you are bleeding and I expect you to answer!" He might as well yelled that out to me, I could feel his anger growing and so was mine.

" Well? Ask me then?!" Which i did yell with attitude laced in my voice. " Why the f**k are you bleeding?! " Jace was yelling back by now and I think if I piss him off more he will do something and Mike is sat next to him so I started to calm myself down. Byt I need to come up with answer quick and it has to be good otherwise I am so very much screwed.

"Well? Answer then?" He said with irritation in his voice, I can tell he has calmed down knowing that I have as well. Come on Sky think what would my boys say?

" Josh what have you done?" Kyle asked. I looked over my shoulder to see Josh holding his wrist with a bloody hand walking over to the table.

" In science some test-tube smashed and I didn't notice it until I put wrist down and shards of glass went inside it and there's a piece that can't I get out."

Me and kyle both laughed at Josh's stupid side that day and I manged to get the glass out and Josh was nearly in tears.

"Sky I am waiting." Jace's voice brought me back to reality and now I have answer to his question.

" I cut my wrist in scince because my beaker smashed. The nurse clearly did a lousy job abd stitching it up." As I was talking I looked into his eyes so he knew I wasn't lying, even though I was.

" Finally. was it really that hard to answer a simple question?" Jace knew he was starting to annoy me and he was having a great time doing it.

"With you yes." And with that everyone in the car even the driver knew that this conversation ended. I looked over at Mike and he had a look on his face he knew that I was lying, I had to change Joshes story because we all told Mike what happened that day me and Kyle laughing as we did barely getting any words out, Mike was smiling at the fact that I was properly laughing with everyone anf having a good time.

" Mike please may I have my things now I would Like to listen to music." I asked politely and he nodded 'yes' and gave my things to me. I put my headphones on and clicked on a new song and got comfy anf looked out the window once again.
