Dark Night Pack

Chapter 16

Mike pov

"This is the pack house you will be staying here for as long as you want. You can have your own house if you would like. It can get ...um ... Crowded I guess." The beta laughed the last part out as we were walking to the doors of the pack house.

" Well I have to look after lots of teenagers and I have been living with Sky since she was a toddler. But I would like a house to myself for once." I said jokingly. But it was the truth I would love to have a house to myself I have never had a quiet moment when living with Sky and the boys coming over most of the nights.

"Yeah that's fine. If we give you a room here for a couple of weeks I will get the alpha to sort out the arrangements out for you.

" He said kindly. "Thank you beta." I said and smiled at him greatly.

Once we stepped inside the pack house it was filled with chatter, laughter, children running around. It brought a smile to my face as I remembered the sound of the care home at my old pack.

" This is the living room. We do have another one but that's on the other side of the house." Beta Issac said as we walked into a huge room. It had a laminated wooden floor, there was a circle dipped in the middle where there were two long sofa's either side of the circle and a small round table in the middle.

We walked through the living room seeing some of my old pack mates getting along in the new pack house as well as the new pack mates. We then entered the game room. The was a red semi-circle sofa in the middle of the room with a black table in front of it, a flat screen TV hung on the wall and beneath it was different consoles. Behind of sofa there was a pool table. There were a couple of computers scattered around the side of the room. And a book case that had all sorts of DVDs and games.

" Lots of the teenagers come in here it's one of the popular room in the pack house." Beta Issac explained.

" Yeah I can see that this room gets very busy. Sky would love this room, her and the boys would spend most of their time playing on the consoles or watching films." I laughed thinking about those times bring up food or drinks for them.

"Boys? What do you mean by that?" Issac questioned looking at me confused. " Those two teenage males that the alpha killed. Well Josh and Kyle was Sky''s only friends so they were over most of the time." Once I had finished explaining we were in the kitchen. There were two islands in the middle of the kitchen one was small and has an oven and a sink, the other island was long and had tall stalls by it. Off to the side of the second island there was very long dinning tables and there was also a other side that also had a sink.

" Why were they her only friends. Did she not like others or something?" He asked as we sat down on the stalls by the island while a she-wolf was giving me some snacks and drinks.

"Sky has always been different than the other girls. She was an orphan at a young age and every time I found a foster family for her she would end up getting brought back in a week or two. She could never live in the house with the others, because she would start fights or get into them. The boys were the only ones that could cope with it and could calm her down after or before anything happens." Half way through talking our food was put in front of us along with our drinks. I took a bite in my sandwich and had some of my drink.

" It seems like the alpha will have an interesting time with Sky then. Plus I think he has met his match, even though I don't known her very well." Issac laughed and laughed along with him as well agreeing with him.

Once we do go finished eating beta Issac was mind linking someone. Once he was done talking he turned to me. " Alpha has a problem with Sky. Can you come with me to try and break it up?" He asked me his voice was stern and I could tell it was serious. I said yes and we headed towards the Sky and her Alpha mate.

'what have you gotten yourself into Sky?'  ask myself as I shifted into my dark grey wolf.

We finally arrived were Sky and the alpha were, I quickly shifted back behind a tree. Once I was fully dressed i looked to beta Issac, with both nodded and walked towards the two.

The scene before us was undescribable. Alpha Jace was about to shift and so was Sky. Her eyes were changing from her normal brown/green eyes to her wolf's bright blue eyes and her class were out. I had never seen her like this before,she has never been this angry with anyone.

I saw beta Issac in the corner of my eyes as he slowly approached Alpha Jace. " Alpha." I could hear the weariness in his voice. As soon as the words left his mouth Alpha Jace snapped his head towards him, his eyes were pure black with anger. "WHAT DO WANT!?" He snarled. But once he spoke Sky saw her opportunity.
