Chapter five***Accident in the bathroom***

Ethan excused himself and walked a little further away to call his assistant Bill. he answered almost immediately. yes Don, Bill waited for his orders, Bill, leave the car behind,u should leave with the boys first,am going to the villa with Diana,i don't want to scare her off with so many guards. Bill was silent , he wasn't happy about this development. Don, I don't think that's a good idea,U know it's not safe for you to be on your own without protection. Ethan was annoyed by his words, he understand what Bill was worried about, the last time he was alone,he was ambushed by a group of masked men and barely survived. Bill was not just his assistant but also his best friend, and he always blames himself for leaving Ethan alone that night two years ago. Ethan understands his worries but right now the most important thing was Diana's comfort. it's an order. Ethan said in his usual bossy tone. Yes Don, Bill agreed with a sigh, and left as he was told but still instructed few men to watch over their boss in secret. Ethan wasn't just a gang leader,he was a mafia king, king of the underworld both within and outside the country. they deal with top politicians and drug dealers. he turned his father's small gang to the most feared sort group of mafia's .he has so much power but at the same time,he has a lot of enemies that want him dead to take over his power. but no one dares to confront him directly but try every given opportunity to attack him. just like two years ago.

they rode in silence and soon they arrived at his house, the distance wasn't too far from her house. we are here, Ethan said smiling at her, welcome to my humble abode. she smiled back taking in the beautiful surroundings, wow , this place is really amazing she said admiring the golden interior designs as they stepped into the house . do you live here alone? she asked curious , the house is so big, even bigger than her house. yes I live alone he replied to her question. wow, this house is really huge and beautiful , are you some Kind of billionaire now, she teased. he made a chuckling laugh as she had no idea how rich and powerful he is. you can say that, Ethan is said still laughing.

He showed her around for me while and then he decided to let her freshen up and rest as she looked tired.

after she left,he took out his phone and dialled his brother's number, after a few rings a deep angry voice answered the call. Hello!? who is this? he asked clearly not in the mood for prank calls. Hello brother!, the line went silent, after a few seconds he asked unsure of what he heard. Ethan?, he asked to confirm. yes brother, Ethan replied, what, when, when did you return? Shocked Adam asked.Ethan cleared his trout and went straight to the point, He wasn't happy with his brother, he abandoned him with a gangster who appeared out of nowhere and claimed to be his father with some documents.for fifteen years his brother did not care to know his whereabouts, or to know if he was fine. he understood that he was probably a burden to him and he was glad to have gotten rid of the burden. but that didn't stop him from caring about them, especially Daina. he still remembered how she cried and held onto him not wanting him to go, it broke his heart but there was nothing he could do, he promised her that he will come back for her soon but life wasn't that easy.

I called to let you know that Daina is with me so u don't worry . what?, Adam asked shocked,how did she end up with you?.

Well I still don't know exactly what happened but she is very sad so she can't come this night,i will bring her over tomorrow morning.

Adam went silent for a while not sure what to say or think, Ethan , am really glad to hear from you and I hope to see you tomorrow, he said sincerely. Ethan just humm in response and ended the call. he went to pour himself to drink,so many emotions running in his head.

Haaa, he heard a loud scream from the guest room. worried he ran inside and to the bathroom without thinking, he saw Daina grabbing onto a towel to cover herself as she was totally nicked on the floor of the bathroom .he rushed up to her, not caring about her half nicked state. are you alright? he asked with panic evident in his eyes, fearing the worst as she stirred blankly at him. Daina why ain't you saying anything? she looked at him shyly,her face was red with embarrassment as she said am fine, i just twisted my ankle. he sighed in relieve. seeing her flushed face, he quickly understood why. gulping down his nervousness he quickly helped her to sit and went back to the room to search for something, he came back with a bathrobe and rapped it around her as he picked her up bridal style. what are you doing, she yelled at him in disbelief but rapped her hands around his neck to keep her from falling,how can he act like it was a normal thing to do. he laughed at her reaction as he placed her gently on the bed .

Daina, u don't have to feel embarrassed around me,I know we have been apart for a while but it doesn't change the facts that we are family ,and it's my responsibility to ensure that you are safe as ur uncle.
