CHAPTER THREE:
AN UNFORTUNATE BIRTHDAY
Two days later, Sir Harry Tramp had gone hunting when Pauline and her mother suddenly woke up from bed that morning.
“ Oh, I forgot to remind my husband today is his birthday!” cried Mrs Sandra Tramp, shaking her head and looking sad. “Nevertheless, I will go ahead and organize a surprise birthday party in his honour.”
Mrs Sandra Tramp decorated her house beautifully. Pauline helped her with the preparations. After they were down with all the preparations, Pauline and her mother ate their lunch together at the dining room. The reason was that it was around Midday. In the afternoon Pauline enjoyed her siesta in her mother’s room while her mother relaxed in the dining room.
