I know that I am dreaming. How do I know, you ask? Well, I'm running in a forest, completely out of breath, choking on the air in my lungs. For one, I do not know which forest I am in. This is because I am not a person who likes to go out for a hike or anything. And anyone who knows me personally knows for a fact that I can't run. In fact, let me be honest, I can barely walk without falling on my face. But here I am, in a forest, running away from something—or at least, I think I am. From what I am running, I do not know. But what I do know is that whatever is chasing me is catching up with me. Just before I hear my alarm clock go off, I see a shadow in the corner of my eye. It has the shape of a big dog or maybe a small wolf. But before it catches me, I see the eyes of the monster. I feel like I know who it is underneath, but I can't place it. I feel its breath on my neck. And then I am woken up by my alarm.
