Chapter 5. Welcome home 'mommy.'

1349 Words
Finally, Amelia and her baby were allowed to go home that afternoon. While on the way home, Amelia looks do not talk much; Robert, her husband, tries to open conversation:   "Are you, okay dear?" ask Robert to Amelia. which was answered with a nod by his wife  "I just want to get home as soon as possible and want to meet the children."  Amelia answered quietly, almost inaudibly. "Yes, in about 15 minutes, we will arrive after passing the last toll road," said her husband gently with a smile.   Her eyes glazed looked through the car window as the car continued to drive through the vast expanse of vacant land next to the hospital building. So many stories she had heard about this deserted land she saw along the way. Empty land filled with piles of used cars and garbage, on the side of the road, an electric train was seen screaming on the rails above the giant pillars that adamantly support the railings above. How much of this vacant lot holds stories that bear silent witness to several heart-rending tragedies, souls lost without a trace and never to be found. If this expanse of empty land could answer, it would indeed show where justice lies to the family's questions in the search for the missing without a trace.   "Ah," Amelia sighed, which made her husband turn to her spontaneously.    Since the incident at the hospital, Amelia has often been frightened and paranoid. She is easily startled by the sound of a creaking door or someone knocking on the door. Amelia experienced unstable emotions after birth. It calls for postpartum emotions or postpartum depression; The postpartum period involves more than becoming comfortable with the role of the mother. It is a time of significant emotional and physical changes and changes in all meaningful relationships. During this time, a mother may feel as though her body has turned against her. Try not to get frustrated if possible, or it may find some help it would be better. Additional support will help a lot. The Coupled incident that shocked them made them mentally weak and easy to cry. As experienced by Amelia, for example. Robert, her husband, was worried about Amelia's condition. He was careful when every time asked Amelia about things, afraid that Amelia would be surprised or offended. As, on the other hand, Amelia is now easily angry and irritated and cries easily. Robert had thought of staying a few days in the hospital to check on Amelia and her mental state after the birth. But Amelia is angry and insists on going home. No choice but to obey Amelia's wishes. Baby Angeline seems to be sleeping very soundly, and sometimes her mouth is squeaking like she is breastfeeding, so adorable.   After traveling about an hour from the hospital to their house, they finally arrived at their small and beautiful home. The house is on the city's outskirts; it is still in monthly installments in a housing complex. But at least now they have their own home, and there is no need to rent like they used to. On the other hand, they can live peacefully and safely with their little family in harmony.  First, their brownie dog greeted them with an enthusiastic barking when their car arrives in front of the house, running towards the car and circling it with a loud and joyful sound. Then, the children ran out, accompanied by their middle-aged house assistant, named Nida.      Louisa, a 10-year-old, their first daughter, comes with pink balloons, followed by his younger brother, Evan, 8-year-old, carrying a poster with the greeting message:   "Welcome home, mommy and baby Angeline."     They are so happy to welcome their mother and baby sister home from the hospital. Amelia got out of the car carrying baby Angeline; she got out slowly then helped by her husband, seen in Amelia's eyes a gleam of joy when she saw her children. Then, even though it was only a few days, she left them, but it was evident on Amelia's face that she had a deep longing for the two children whom she had left at home. A mother's feelings are so profound for her children; for a mother, all her children are the same in their eyes, and they deserve the same love from her.     Rained cats and dogs (of course, it's not literally )- since this afternoon. It rained pouring from the sky, accompanied by the sound of lightning and thunder breaking in the evening sky. However, the atmosphere in the house feels warm and comfortable. Amelia is in her bedroom and sitting on the chair while breastfeeding her baby, watching the heavy rain through the window. She started to feel much calmer than when she was in the hospital at that time. Baby Angeline is fast asleep in a soft pink baby blanket after her little tummy filled with her mother's milk; she looks healthy and getting cuter. Amelia slowly puts the baby into the crib. She wants to lie on the bed to relax and feels very sleepy, added with the heavy rainy weather that made her want to sleep. Amelia fell fast asleep, and she looked very sound. In her deep sleep, Amelia faintly heard the door creak slowly; she tried to open her eyes to see who entered. Faintly in her vision saw someone enter her room carrying a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers; Amelia tried to clear her vision. She saw a young man in his mid-thirties, handsome, with a distinctive smile and once made Amelia melt and impressed. Make her ask questions in her mind:  “Who is this dashing man? "Amelia asked herself.   "Why is his smile so charming?” She thought again. . "I think he is one of my husband's friends who came to visit." Added her in thought.  " But raining like this? who wants to come? People are reluctant to leave their house in this kind of weather, "more puzzles in her mind.  However, Amelia did not care who he was; she even smiled back at the handsome man when he approached her and gave the flowers to Amelia while whispering:   "Welcome home, Mommy." said the handsome man in a passionate voice which fascinated amelia for a moment "Oh, it's so beautiful, thank you," said Amelia with joy.          Amelia closed her eyes as soon as she smelled the sweet aroma emanating from the man approaching her. Amelia was carried away by the atmosphere that made her feel floating; for a moment, Amelia forgot about Robert, her husband. And forgot that she had just given birth.!    "Who is this man? And why was he so bold and rude entering my room?".Her subconscious is trying to remind Amelia about that guy.  But she ignored the question that she was supposed to ask.   Amelia did not care about her subconscious trying to remind her to ask all those questions. And let herself become gripped by the beautiful atmosphere she felt at that time beyond her imagination. She never imagined that she would get such a romantic welcome from someone so handsome, far, and different from Robert. A ridiculous thought!   The man's eyes were so sharp when he looked at Amelia as it hypnotized Amelia, and she seemed unable to resist. She took her eyes off the man until the man wanted to say goodbye and leave, Amelia felt something was missing, and she seemed reluctant to allow it.   How strong is the power of that stranger man has? She just met, but he already caught her attention. Thousands of questions ran through her mind, but she did not care because the desire to be near that man was much stronger than the question that tickled her mind. Amelia stared dumbfounded at the man walking towards the bedroom door; no words could escape her lips other than stunned. She was still mesmerized by his eyes:   "oh, look at that man's back, so strong and hunk," said Amelia to herself. She was still staring in amazement until he disappeared behind the door.   continued to the next chapter ---
