Dawn began breaking on the eastern horizon, the faint sound of a rooster crowing in the morning. There was the sound of baby Angeline crying from the next room; Amelia felt her breasts swell as she did not breastfeed Angeline last night. She quickly got up from her bed and headed to the next room, ten minutes past four, In the morning.
Amelia slowly opened the door to the nursery, where Aunt Nida and baby Angeline slept together. Seen Aunt Nida is feeding formula to the baby:
"Let me breastfeed her, my milk flows freely," said Amelia to Aunt Nida.
"Oh, you got up so early?" asked Nida with a smile as she handed the baby in her arms to Amelia.
"Yes, auntie I slept early last night."
Amelia was still wearing her nightgown, and she tied her hair up, taking her baby to her room.
Nida then got up, made her bed, and cleaned up the baby's crib and the room.
A fresh morning atmosphere, the mountain's peak in the shock is still shrouded in fog; the morning air is so cool and refreshing. The clear morning dew still clings to the leaves with its spoiled. A fresh morning brings a scent that captivates the soul. Amelia closed her eyes in gratitude for God's infinite creation:
"Thank God for giving me another chance to breathe this cool morning air."
" Thank you for this beautiful life " she whispered as he closed her prayer with:
"Amen"
Amelia was stunned while breastfeeding her baby; her dream last night was so amazing like it was real; she smiled to herself but still arguing with her thoughts:
"Ah how can that be a reality?"
"Back horse riding up to the sky, handsome prince, soaring in the sky, and a palace with great feasts."
"How ridiculous would I be if I thought it was real" she debated herself.
Nida entered her room after knocking on the door slowly; she approached Amelia and said:
"Your breakfast is ready."
"Let me put her to sleep to the nursery room "
"The children's school supplies are also ready."
"Just wake them up to shower and have breakfast."
"So, they don't miss the school bus when pick their up later," said Nida in a row
"Thank you, Auntie," said Amelia with a smile at Nida.
Amelia had finished her shower and looked refreshed, came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, and then she was sitting in front of her dressing table when she put a little makeup on her face, and she saw something that almost made her jump out of her chair:
"Holy guacamole!"
"Am I still dreaming?" unconsciously she screamed a little, which made Nida rush to her room, worried that something would happen to Amelia:
"What happened dear?"
"Are you okay?" Nida asked with a worried look.
"Oh, sorry auntie if I startled you," said Amelia with a guilty.
"I am fine."
I was just shocked and almost fell out of my chair," Amelia said, then laughing again.
"Oh, thank goodness, you are fine," said Nida while massaging her chest.
"The children have woken up and now they are having breakfast in the dining room," said Nida.
"Okay, I'll take care of them first."
“Baby Angeline is sleeping soundly," said Nida as she stepped out of the room.
Amelia still could not believe it and felt the necklace around her neck, gem-quality light purple beads hanging beautifully from her long, smooth neck, Amelia muttered with a cluttered mind:
"It means last night I didn't dream."
"Everything that happened to me is true."
"Oh, I'm getting confused, and this is driving me crazy!"
Amelia is getting ready to go to work after finding the car keys in the drawer. Then her eyes fell on the piece of paper that her son Evan gave her yesterday afternoon. She passed the dining room and found her children enjoying breakfast still in their pajamas. Amelia approached them greeting while kissing the kids one by one:
"Good morning my bears."
"Good morning mommy bear," they answered in unison while laughing
Amelia's eyes fell on her son, who was enjoying his favorite Coco Crunch and milk for breakfast; Amelia greeted him:
"Hey, my handsome man, may I ask you something?"
"Yes, Mommy, what is that?" Evan asked while still looking down enjoying his breakfast
"Who is your model in this great painting?" Amelia asked, pointing to the paper she was holding.
"Oh, that's the horseman, the hero I saw in my dream when it was raining heavily that time," Evan replied, glancing at his mother, then he continued to eat his breakfast.
"Wow, may I have this masterpiece?" Amelia asked hopefully.
Evan replied, still focusing on his spoon trying to scoop up the last coco crunch floating in his breakfast bowl:
"Oh, sure, now Mommy can have it for free."
"But when I grow up, become a famous painter."
"All my paintings will not be free anymore." Said Evan seriously.
"Oh, I'm lucky right now," answered Amelia with a surprised expression.
"Okay, I'll take advantage of this good opportunity," she said while winking at Louisa, who was holding back a laugh.
Amelia kissed Evan like Amelia wanted to eat him:
“Mooooooom, stop it,” Evan screams in tickle.
then approached her daughter while kissing relentlessly:
"You too, mommy's heart, don't go out for a date with your crush, or your dad will get broken heart."
"ew.. mom hahaha," Louisa laughed, amused
."Okay baby, take care of your brother, bye for now, see you all guys later. "
'' Byeeee, mommy," the children answered all together.
Amelia warmed up the car for a while, then opened the gate; her eyes fell on the footprints of horse hooves around the soft uncemented ground in front of the house, and the footprints disappeared around the direction of the flowing sewers.
"Horse hooves?"
"There are no horses in this neighborhood" "and there's no way horses could get in from out there or from a hillside so far from here."
She looked at the entrance gate, which the security guard guarded.
So clear in Amelia's memory of last night's party, a large and magnificent ballroom with unique ancient ornaments like in a royal movie. Then the audience in exquisite and puffy gowns like in the Victorian era.
Amelia descended the stairs slowly, with Prince Arthur holding her hand. All eyes turned to her with all kinds of expressions; some looked amazed with jaw drops, some looked at her strangely because she was the only one with a slightly modern appearance, and some girls looked at her with jealous eyes. It was because the girls looked at her with cynicism and jealousy.
What she remembers is when she was dancing with Arthur hugging her waist tightly.
Arthur, who looked dashing in royal attire, stared at Amelia unblinkingly, making Amelia lowered her head, unable to reveal those hazelnut eyes.
Amelia snapped out of her daydream when she heard Arthur's voice:
"Focus on your driving, Amelia," along with the sound of the ten-wheeler truck horn roaring, making her flinch and panic.
She pulled her car to the side of the road for a moment to calm herself. She remembered what Arthur said to her that night that he was always with her:
" Is he seeing me right now?" Amelia mumbled with a confused face while looking up to the sky through the windshield
After traveling for about an hour from her house, Amelia finally arrived at the hospital where she worked.
