Even though it feels hard to leave her infant child, who is not even three months old yet, Amelia is committed to keeping working; Robert, her husband, is a Little hard to let her go back to work because he wanted his wife to stay at home with the children and take care of them. Bertha looks enthusiastic while receipt the call from Amelia. They are both best friends, close friends. Their friendship started a long time ago since they were in nursing school; they belong to the same school even sat side by side in the classroom.   Bertha already misses Amelia, even though they often call each other while Amelia is on maternity leave. The continued rain as a rainy session happening and Amelia's house outside the city, making it difficult for Bertha to visit her; Bertha is often on duty and overtime. Since her husband died, Bertha had to support her two children alone. Her husband also bequeathed the house to Bertha and her children and left an oath that the house could not be sold or changed hands. This big house left by her husband needs money to take care of it; it feels like 'a white elephant' that is primarily a burden but not profitable.   Bertha's late husband, a businessperson in the field of trading. He is an only child and has no siblings except cousins from his both parents, especially his father’s side who constantly interfere with his property and inheritance of Mr. Reynold Garcia, Bertha's husband. They are always looking for trouble so they can corner the quiet Bertha, who never fights back. The cousins of Mr. Garcia did not really like Bertha. But her husband always defends and protects Bertha from all accusations that are not proven to be true. Always answer husband when asked:  "Bertie, why don't you ever defend yourself against untrue accusations from my family?" Mr. Garcia calls Bertha's nickname 'Bertie,' which means "bright one" in Old German.  "Ah, let them be dear, I don't need other people's justification about me, because they are not important to me."  "You and our children are the most important." Bertha answered her husband with a smile as usual. Even though deep down, she has a pain that she cannot express in words.  Bertha could not understand how people always spread hatred towards others for no reason, even though she tried to always be friendly and never retaliate for their bad behaviour. They even nicknamed Bertha the Black Widow because her husband always died. Bertha was incredibly sad to hear them address her like that, but she never paid attention even though it really offended her.  She hopes it does not become continuous and chaotic. If the primary human character is a hater, what can we do? Maybe because their lives are less happy, so it is always bitter to see the happiness of others. Worse than their actions are always slander and wanting to damage other people's relationships; slander is cruel and even crueller than murder.! Do you know what it means? And how significant impact to the victim?  Not only kills someone psychologically but also mentally and even kills their character. Character assassination, individuals can be rejected by their professional community or social or cultural environment members. Horrible! Because it accuses and punishes innocent acts of injustice!  ________________________________  Amelia has returned to health physically, but spiritually she is still not stable. Often, she sits by the window and daydreams. I'm used to it, right?"  "Yeah, I'm just worried because you just recovered from giving birth "  "Oh, come on, I just gave birth, and I didn't just wake up from a coma, duh," Amelia answered sarcastically  "Okay, let's hug me first," said Robert while opening his arms wide  Amelia approached while taking a deep breath:  "Okay, done"  " Only that?"  " So, what do you want?"  "Kiss," said Robert as he approached his wife and kissed Amelia's lips affectionately.  "ouch"  " Enough, kids will enter a room and see us," said Amelia while pushed her Husband away.  Baby Angeline sleeps in the nursery with Nanny, her aunt Nida.
