CHAPTER 63 Ten Million Dollars

1076 Words

Sheila's POV Standing on the balcony of my room staring outside in thought, I heard a faint knock at the door. Surprisingly I tilted my neck in confusion, I wasn't expecting anyone. The knock came again, forcing me to drag my legs to the door in anger. I haven't been in my right mind since the incident and what I don't need right now is disturbance. Pushing the door open, I wanted to yell to whoever the intruder was but however, my mouth got glued up as I locked eyes with Jerry. "Hmmm," I forced up a smile to my lips, "You came," I shifted to the other side, making space for him to walk in. He nodded at me before stepping inside, "I wasn't even expecting you today, well I guess you're good at your job," locking the door, I said before walking inside the room to have a seat.
